About Me

As a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor, I am experienced in working with a range of issues including but not limited to; anxiety, current relationship difficulties, self-harm, abuse and trauma.

Whatever it is you are experiencing, through counselling I can help you to explore your feelings, to help make sense of things in a way which can help you feel empowered to move forward.

To ensure I offer the best, ethical service possible, I am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling Society and an Individual Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I also participate in Supervision on a regular basis which guarantees I practice effectively and ethically with my clients.

In addition, I am fully insured and registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, complying with data protection legislation at all times.

Qualifications

  • Pearson BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling

  • NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills and Theory

  • CPCAB Level 2 certificate in Counselling Skills

  • Working with Shame – Carolyn Spring

  • Understanding the Effects of Childhood Sexual Abuse – Choices Counselling, Cambridge.

where to find me

All of my face to face sessions are held at my practice at 12 Broad Street, Stamford. This town centre location is easy to get to with ample parking on Broad Street (1 hour free parking) or the close by North Street Car Park (paid parking)
